In Utah, the winter season is a time for celebration. The Ogden Utah Christmas Village is a local favorite for holiday fun. This year, the village features larger than life light displays, over 25 different Christmas "houses" and attractions, including a nativity scene, Santa's workshop, and a model train exhibit. There's also plenty of food and shopping available, making it the perfect destination for a winter day out.
The Ice Castles attraction in Utah is one of the most popular winter tourist destinations in the country. Every year, people from all over flock to see the elaborate ice sculptures and frozen slides that are set up in a different location each year. While this amazing winter experience won't open for the season until the new year, in January 2023, the Ice Castles will be set up in Midway, Utah, and is expected to be even more popular than ever before.
Millcreek Commons is the largest outdoor ice skating rink in Utah, and it’s a popular spot for wintertime fun. The rink is open from November to February, and during that time you can enjoy ice skating, sledding, and playing in the snow. In addition to the recreational activities, Millcreek Commons also features a fire pit where you can warm up after a day of fun in the cold.

The Snowbird Resort in Utah is gearing up for its annual New Year's Eve Torchlight Parade and you're invited! The parade will take place on December 31, 2022 from 6pm - 6:30pm and will feature a torchlight procession of skiers and snowboarders winding their way down the mountain and fireworks. The Hogle Zoo in Utah is one of the most popular tourist destinations during the Christmas season. Every year, the zoo puts on a spectacular light show that attracts visitors from all over the state. The unique family holiday tradition, 16th Annual ZooLights, is back at Utah’s Hogle Zoo for select dates through Dec. 30, 2022. While the animals sleep, guests of all ages will see fantastical light displays of animals, and holiday scenes around the zoo from 5:30-9 p.m.
